The Author
Our founder, Derrick I. Temple, Sr., holds a unique place in his heart for Dr. Melvin Von Wade, Sr. Under Dr. Wade, Sr.'s tutelage, he served as Assistant to Pastor Wade at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church of Los Angeles, CA. There, he was groomed by Pastor Wade for ministry. Along with publishing Think on This, our founder has committed to publishing volumes of Dr. Wade's sermons in the near future.
Think on This is a collection of wise sayings from M. V. Wade, Sr., one of the world's greatest preachers of all time, especially within the rich history of the Black Church. Dr. Wade gives provocative quotes from other theologians as well as his own and syncretizes them in a way that invokes thoughtful reflection. Pastor M. V. Wade, Sr. challenges each reader to think about things that are lovely and of good report.
